Taking favors from someone else would not change things, besides feeding ones personal ego

PB has several different currencies, the dominating one is favors, followed by items

so basically its

items = game cash

vs

favors = paypal

and right now we've got an inflation on both favors and items... (especially since favors came out in the OM, mostly since we highlevels were quick to list shitty stuff for favors, we drained all the left-over favs that lowlevels were holding)

the reason why alot more shit is being sold overpriced, for favors is, is because of the very first thing that i mentioned, favors being the dominating currency, im sure many people would prefer to sell their Clean toilet for favors and not EDs, because with favors anyone can buy pretty much anything they want, its all posted on the open market! Amens that the majority wouldnt ever sell for gamecash/items. With ED's theyd would would only be able to buy medium-level amenities like Iron Man IMAX /anything thats below 20k eds..

I agree with dem... and the reality that you can post any price for 10 favours is a down too... people would hesititate to do ti if there was some kind of rating on it... why would you list soemthing for 1500 favours if it cost you 5% to do it... as it may well not sell for that price and you loose out...

thats cause the price of 100 favs to eds went retarded.. i dont know how low it was before i started but the first eds i got i exchanged for 100 favs and i got 4keds and that seemed to be the going rate at the time.. now i see people trying to get upwards of 10keds.. and the some people still try to trade away 8k but probably end up paying more.. everything has basically at least doubled since i started.

ya listin at 10 favs for anything is the main thing that is killin the market also cause if you pay a % you want see somethin that most likely want sell for a lot bein listed at a high price either everyone would be lookin to sell it for what they are worth in favs

I had a feeling someone would complain about my jacko lantern. End of the day, That is what is is worth to me in order for me to get the next amen I need due to the high prices. I'd prefer not to sell it at all, therefore that is the price to buy my pet, that i have looked after for so long.

If there was a 10% favor fee per listing I am sure a lot of ppl would get a reality check.

ya cause noone would list somethin for 1k fav if they dont know if it will sell if they have to pay 100 favs to list it

well when people dont train technically they quit the game...so they crime and get items and sell at rates to compete with others i seen it go from 8keds for 15pp -up to sometimes 15keds-15pp so basically people think the worth of eds went down ...when i actuality they havent they are way more item providers in this game than when i started...i never use to buy items but did it like 4 times just cause i didnt feel like criming and the deal was to good to be true ...

will be used up over time, but its nothing in comparison to the amount of criming being done (guilty as charged :rolleye:), especially not when we've got new crimes here in SD that give us even more cash (remember when holding 20m in AZ used to be alot?) other than that id say people need to focus on the dominating currency instead, favors, thats what the ED's prices are going after (how many times havent someone compared the price of an amenity in EDs in comparison to its listed favors price? The next time someone pulls one of those "800 favors mu cake in EDs.." ill rip my hair out.

Firesales/Bootleg joe is the only way that favors can disappear, isnt that scary? All it takes is paypal to generate more.. and with EDs following favors, its a downwards spiral to hell, its up to mufasa since he's the only one with the powers to drain favors in this game..

personally id say raise the cost of bootleg DVD's and firesale amenities, its a good start atleast..

buying a DVD for 15 favors just to have someones greed (see what i did there? its all loop ) list it for 1500 as if half isnt enough, wont make shit better. 10/15 favors isnt shit, maybe people would think twice about hoarding if it was triple that.
