Open market selling problem

I tried to sell a baseball bat on the open market (in new jersey) for $1640 but when i pressed sell, It took my $164 and didn't put my baseball bat on the open market, the bat is in my inventory. I looked on the open market, it's not on, and I didn't recieve a message it was bought. I'm not mad because I lost the $164, I'm just wondering if this is an error
