This is probably the last time I'm going to acknowledge your presence, Gabzo, because you seem to blatantly ignore reason time and time again. You also managed to kill my thread.

On performance: Offer me some god damn benchmarks instead of saying "Mac haz fasster durr and better anti virus" And are we talking AMD or Intel here? Performance is a lot more than simply Mac vs PC.

here I said I like it because meaning it is opinion: We're not in second grade anymore, you should know that there is more to this fact/opinion mystery than a simple phrase like "I like it." I can say "that stove is too hot" and that's very obviously an opinion, but nowhere did I express a like/dislike.

Cash wise: Who says that something is better because it's cheaper? Expensive products are practically a status symbol for the well-to-do. Jay Z doesn't rock Wal Mart jeans because they're more cost-effective.

Commercial-wise: "Mac bombs PC" Oh yeah, not an opinion in the least!

In an effort to avoid further derail, has anyone else every built their own computer? I did, and it's pretty fun. Bought all the parts from Newegg, even a brand spankin new OS, put it all together, and learned how everything works. I even went so far as to learn how to overclock my CPU and GPU.

heres what i no about my last computer, it had sum good hang time before it hit the ground, fucking viruses

Format the harddrive and start over. No reason to destroy the hardware.

To my knowledge, there are very few, if any, viruses that can do enough physical damage that a complete wipe won't fix it.
