While searching for a way to keep the site from going down each night while doing backups, I inadvertantly screwed something up in the DB which required a fix that took much longer than expected. Apologies, and I've added a day onto all respected prisoners

Yeah, in the middle of it all I tested it, and it looks like we can now do backups without the server needing to go down. It's actually doing a test backup now and the site isn't even slowing down

Lol, I always thought that was just my internet connection being gay. 

nope, the backup script was set to disable HTTP while it ran. It's been refined now though so it shouldn't take as long to run -- not that it matters anyway, as I said, HTTP won't need to be stopped
