Originally posted by prisoner12 I wasn't whining, I was just voiceing my opinion. I think Mustufa should have a little respect for someone that spent over $100 in a month on hos game, but he is like most game owners an a** . Some kid with some programming talent. I am a system admin for a living and run a data center where we house 800 servers like where this game is run. As for sitting making money it was fun doing the wheeling =dealing since we are never going to be able to catch the leader in the game. I just think he mad a mistake is all. Just my opinion. Won't voice it anymore.

Man, you guys always come with the same bullshit don't you? I make a change, which balances things out and stops people abusing the system, and now I don't care about my players and I'm just a punk kid that can program right? Do you realize what you sound like? A whining fucking baby that can't have his way.

OMFG I can't take advantage anymore! Fuck this! I quit! My bad though, I should tailor the game to YOU because you just spent $100 on the game. Do players of WoW demand to have the game work the way they want because they pay subscription fees? Cut the self-entitled bullshit. If you have a legitimate issue with the changes, then voice them like a goddamn adult and don't just sit there whining about how you can't abuse the system anymore and now you refuse to spend money.

This is just retarded. I gave everyone double everything, if I were money-grubbing, why bother? Not to mention people would ALWAYS bitch. If I made the change in a week, they'd bitch because they spent the money a week ago. If I did it in a month, they'd be complaining that some people just bought into the game the day before. Is there some pre-determined time I'm supposed to wait before tweaking the game after the last person has paid any money into the game?

Now I see why so few game owners just do not take part in their community. They'd all have high blood pressure and ulcers dealing with the madness.

Its not so bad like i was thinking...but just do that every level up gain at least just little more stats...I didnt sure yet,but looks like if Level 15 and level 16 tarining with empty cell(just baseNRG and STM) that level 15 will gain more....

That is not good i think, will maybe kill desire for playing...not need to be big difference, just little more

So, Mufasa, our previous training formula was: (stat gained)=Energy*(absolute stanina/100). Then we could count what item to buy to get more profit, either get more energy or more stamina from this item.

So what's the new formula? It's a bit randomized as we know, but this randomization starts from one mean value...

In other words, what is more important now for training: stamina or energy points?

i don´t know if i understood this well, but, what abt middle levels? lowers will soon reach our level but with higher stats than us, it took hard work to train planning what´s better 4 us (like Barbarian explained) and it´s an interesting part of the game, if it´s randomized we wont need to think abt all that, my opinion is that probably the game will loose a fun part of it, may be wont be as interesting as it is now, cause many things wont depend on players strategy, just only on players luck or other things... personally i think that is OK 4 crimes but we need  important parts of the game like training and stats to depend on us!

If I understand this new system correctly, depending on our lvl (or prison we're in) we have a modifier to our training gains. Let's say you were gaining 100 stats per train before and now you're gaining 90 because of this new base modifier. To this new base, the random factor is added. You will be gaining between 80% (72 stats) to 150% (135 stats) of this new base of 90. In the long run, because you have an equal chance of hitting each %, this equals to an average 115% (103.5 stats). In other words, the random factor isn't random. It's like throwing a 6 sided dice 100 times, it's predictable. You might hit a number a bit more often than others, but in the long run you'll all hit them equally.

O.K.  i understand better now, I have to say that i didn't experienced new system  long enough, but what happened to me is that i got very high amount of Exp points and i don´t like this ´cause i prefer to spend my exp doing crimes to get money and i wont like to level up fast with low stats and a very poor bank account

Originally posted by prisoner12 If u want a suggestion: I think one thing would be to change the percentage u go up when u train. I have 90NRG with my training cell. I go up 2% each time I train. If I train 25 times in a day I will go up a level every 2 days. I think that is a little much. Just a suggestion. Other game s I play and spend a lot of time on it takes me a month to go up a level.

The xp gain you're seeing is based on your level. I must have sat on level 10 for about a month before leveling, which seems to be the range you're expect. To be honest, to me, that felt like way too long. Haha. But once you level once or twice more, you'll see what I mean. It starts taking a lot more time to gain levels, which is nice if you ask me, as it gives the lower level players a sense of quicker progress, and then it gets pretty tough to gain levels once you get up there.

As a side note: If you're still interested in running goods between prisons, you might be able to hit the appropriate level and run between AZ and the new prison (I'm not sure what level that is, of course, as the prison doesn't exist yet).

ya know..As the saying goes, you can please most of the people some of the time and some of the people most of the time, but you can't please 'em all all of the time.   i invest a lot more then you do (now thats an understatement! lol) prisoner12, and the only thing i got the sniffles about is not ending up with a PS3...no one is forcing you to invest or to play
