this leprechaun blows chunks. Does my stamina matter when I chase him? Cuz I swear even though I max up to 100% right in front of him, he knocks me out.

yeah the stm matters but it is random also... my first 8 i hit he ran away 6 and got him 2 times.... never any infirm times then next 3 times all infirm
