Java is not the same as Javascript. Javascript is built into your browser and if it wasn't enabled he wouldn't even see his cell

Java is a totally different thing here, completely different programming language.

If it was a Java coding issue it wouldn't work for anyone because browsers only interpret client site code (css, [x]html, js), where as the server the site is running on parses server side code which can be java, asp, php, cf, ruby, etc (99% sure pblock runs on php anyway). That's why some people have issues while others don't their browsers sometimes are not up-to-date with current client side coding standards.

well. you are correct, if it was a CODING issue no-ones would work but if its a browser problem or compatibility problem then only the ivompatible browsers wouldnt work. ive seen a few people having problems with both java and javascript and its very rarely the programmers fault

As mentioned, the OP needs to update his browser and report back. We can speculate all day long, but without more input from him, it's pointless.

When something works for almost everyone else, chances are there's something wrong on your end. There's not to say that YOU did something wrong, but something about your particular configuration doesn't work. This is why we ask for all the information you can provide to help debug the issue. Now... I can't "downgrade" safari (or probably could, but it's not worth it), so step one is to upgrade to the latest version that just about everyone is running.

Once that's done, please come back and report.
