soo me an my girlfriend have been in town allday long and everything has went fine. but about 45 min ago me an her parked my car at the grocery store we went inside and got a few things and then when we come out i see a big dent in the side of my car  and no one around to tell us what happened 

The store should have video in the parking lot. Should doesnt mean they do tho

they dont we reported it as a hit and run though so hopefully everything is fine

should be covered under insurance as long as you don't just have liability, but a co-pay might be more than the cost to pop out a dent

From my knowledge about parking lots is that its private property and cops can't do anything about it. But insurence will cover you, I think.
