mass battle post on te forums
when i go to a forum that has a shit ton of battle posted, more then 8 on the page my window will freeze, not my computer, i can still open a new window and around 5-10 min later after the end task it goes away and the send error report pops up. just my software on my computer?
killer2310
that suckswhen that happens pull up task manager and see how much resources your browser is using, it might be killin your ram causing it to lock up.. btw how much ram do u have?

thats an exellent question, just going to throw this out there, but most the time when i fix my computers in the past it was done with a bat or by airborne flying, so ya dont no much about computers and hardware and software,
hahaha.... vista or xp?
vista - control panel -> system and maintenance -> system
i think for xp its under control panel -> system...
should tell u there how much ram u got plus your processor...
pull up the task manager and go to the page that messed up the browser, you can then see how much memory is being used and how much of the cpu(processor) is being used under *the tab 'Performace'.... if you see a major jump when your browser locks up, go to *tab 'processes', and arrange the memory column to show the most on top and see which programs are killin your memory..
i had a virus/malware that caused my ram and cpu to work overdrive, crashing the computer when certain applications were being run.. not sayin you have that, just check which apps are using significant memory and google them to see what programs they belong to... best way to find out what could be causing your problem

ya i found it the problem is my computer needs to get fixed, perfer to take it in, a 2 weeks back sum1 was on alot of different sites and when i got on the computer it was a haven for viruses, so deleted a bunch of shit ran norton 3 times and still my pc is fucked up, so no sound and alot of things wont open like word excell power point 90% of the stuff bottom right is gone, but had this problem a while back b4 sum1 in the house wanted to fuck up my computer,
but i did find the control panel
get it formatted and reinstall windows... the virus went to town on your computer.... if u got no sound the driver for the sound card is prob uninstalled... if you know how to format and install windows best thing to do is that.. cuz if u take it in to get fixed, theyll recommend doing that instead of them searching for the problems and fixing them, and theyll charge you prob $80/hour if you want it to be their main priority aka get it back in a day or so.. if you do end up taking it to get it fixed, consider partitioning the harddrive into parts.. save important files on one and use the other for regular computer usage, then if something does happen you only need to format the one partition leaving your other files safe...

i got no sound cuz its on mute and i cant bring the volume control up, even when i try it through contol panel, and $80 an hour is cheaper then buying a new computer and a new bat
haha soo true..
control panel -> sound -> speaker properties -> 'levels' tab... did the trick for me.. but im using a laptop with vista..
