oh just to update on the real life xbox it doesnt play Blu Rays as mentioned earlier but it also doesnt play DVDS microsoft have there own player that you add the Xbox to be able to play movies and the movies that are played are called HD-DVD player and this does not play normal DVDS these are specailly made for the XBOX 360.

I do really agree with that all PS3s should be able to play Blu RAyss but hay this is prison Mu might have a reason why they cant or are not going too.

xbox 360 plays dvds out of the box and needs an addon to play hd-dvd. the original green xbox needed an addon to play normal dvds
