the house and senate are for that but obama does not want to sign it

Its not that he wont sign it they have to revamp where the pipeline goes and doesnt destroy too much wildlife and theres safety issues. they can bring it back to the table once they have a better plan

there are already many pipelines in our country, new technology means that the new pipeline would be much safer and secure than than the 1,700 mile pipeline, when there are some what like 55,000 miles already in our country connecting different markets, canada has givin alternative paths of the pipeline also, canada has also said if there is not a decision they may sell the oil elsewhere including china and may build a pipeline going accross the pacific ocean

Think about this...

We had Reagan, Bush sr, Bill, then another Bush, then Obama. we can break it down if you want too?!!? Bushes started wars.period who cleaned it up?

ok i have time so lets break it down...i dont think its a hidden fact that republicans love war, watch any of their debates and ron paul is the only one who is against conflict and they all say thats his downfall

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Wars

h.w. had the gulf war but it was ended before clinton took office

under clinton we were involved in solmolias civil war or Operation Restore Hope , bosnias civil or Operation Deliberate Force, Operation Uphold Democracy in Hati, Bombings of Afghanistan and Sudan or Operation Infinite Reach, Kosovo War or Operation Allied Force or Operation Noble Anvil...these were ended before he left office

W. fought the war on terror..not sure on your views on 9-11 and we can save this arguement for another day but many feel it was justified for the war on terror...so afghanistan was the direct result and then iraq for the same reasons depending on your views...and the war on terror was expected to last a long time involving many countries over possibly a few decades

but obama has ended the iraq war but has wasted billions in libya, egypt, and with tensions rising obama may be forced to go to war with iran, and a few other countries that are not on the best terms that could have an incidence depending on current events such as seria and yemen

but its sad to say we need war in the world for the United States to prosper, its one of our biggest success' in our economy...many companies make only items that are used for wars bombs, guns, ammo, planes, tanks etc not stuff the average american uses daily...many of these items are not made in other countries because they are very costly to develop and build and the US government spends billions on subsidys for all this technology to be developed and built...when its said we give millions and billions of dollars to countries in aid its often guns, bombs, weapons and that kind of stuff...we help countries get destoyed and then sell them stuff to help them fix it up

But tensions with Iran started as far back as the Reagan era And got worse with wait for it...........................you got it W!!!!

the United States funds something like 60-70% of the bill for nato...obama got involved first after things started to get intense then nato took over actions after the first month or so

NATO and Libya...only 8 of 28 countries were involved and it was pushed by obama or it may have never occured...the US has teh influence to get what it wants

By June, reports of divisions within the alliance surfaced as only eight of the 28 member nations[65] were participating in combat operations, resulting in a confrontation between U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates and countries such as Poland, Spain, the Netherlands, Turkey, and Germany to contribute more, the latter believing the organization has overstepped its mandate in the conflict.[66][67][68] In his final policy speech in Brussels on 10 June, Gates further criticized allied countries in suggesting their actions could cause the demise of NATO.[69] The German foreign ministry pointed to "a considerable [German] contribution to NATO and NATO-led operations" and to the fact that this engagement was highly valued by President Obama.[70]

The Iran problem goes back to the Carter Administration when the hostages were taken...Reagan just had to clean up that mess prior to dealing w/Russia who used to be a SuperPower prior to Reagan cleaning them up...when Iraq went invaded a U.S. ally old GW stepped in to deal w/ them, which gave him a 92% approval rating to boot.

On 19 March 2011, a multi-state coalition began a military intervention in Libya to implement United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973, which was taken in response to events during the Libyan civil war.[20] On 19 March, military operations began, with US and British forces firing over 110 Tomahawk cruise missiles,[21] the French Air Force and British Royal Air Force[22] undertaking sorties across Libya and a naval blockade by the Royal Navy.[23] Air strikes against Libyan Army tanks and vehicles by French jets were since confirmed.[24][25] The official names for the interventions by the coalition members are Opération Harmattan by France; Operation Ellamy by the United Kingdom; Operation Mobile for the Canadian participation and Operation Odyssey Dawn for the United States.[26]
