What years are you saying he had this power to push a bill through? Because I don't see 66%+ anywhere.

2008 to almost 2010 when ted kennedy passed away. Its not 66%, its 60% for a cloture vote to end a filibuster

I'm not talking about filibusters, I'm talking about getting a bill passed without getting it voted down by the opposition. And I'm still not seeing 60%. Can you cite where you found that information?

he clearly stated his biggest goal at the time was to get this country straightened out, by doing something about spending, about deficit and debt, and get the economy moving again to have a robust growing economy that will benefit all americans-which obama is against all of those points

well to get it straightened out we needed the bailouts that got us in debt!! car companies were on their way out ! forclosures on everybodys houses and unemployment skyrocketing and 2 wars we couldnt pay for all because bush should have stayed on his oil furnished ranch in crawford texas and not in charge of the most powerful country in the world !! fuck he couldnt even pronounce nuclear if u remember right it was and i quote " nuclar"

60% to override a filibuster. Majority to pass a bill. 66% to override a veto. Im on a phone its a pain to copy and paste but google senate rules or passing a bill.

the auto bail outs did not create our debt only made it worse, we have been in dept for most of our country history, a small national debt is not a problem, but when it is so large and is out of control with no limits, no plan to reduce or stop spending there is a problem

the auto bailouts were not a bug problem as i see it, saved jobs and kept us companies afloat, the US government got stock in the companies

obamas stimulus package was a horrible mistake, cash wasted with not nearly the results promised, companies like solyndra that got cash only to waste it, shovel ready jobs that where fractions of what he said would occur

an unbalanced budget, more people on entitlement programs, obamacare and medicare/medicare are all adding more and more debt

60% is a rounded up inaccurate number they throw around to make you think Obama couldve easily got bills passed.
