This is deep, filled with many of our views and why i believe much devastation is inevitable! We need to pull together against the eye on the pyramid aka federal reserves and international banks!

In that film they explain what I was trying to say...We need a resource based economy and eliminate the monetary based economy that will have now. Please watch the film so you can understand all the things I was talking about. I was saying all that stuff with out ever seeing this film before! Its called the Venus project!

The film also talks about some of the other things that has been discussed but somehow I was called names about it, so just watch it and then we all can have a productive conversation with means to an end! I believe resources and technology is our key to life as humans and no one has to struggle through life because its enough for every human on earth to live comfortably!

The unions are not what cause ppl to go out of business especially true for small business. Small business may think weak union and low wages is awesome but really it hurts them. Rtw laws drive down wages and benefits = ppl have less to spend small business will feel that the most.

Rtw is a non factor for new companies deciding where to locate they look for resources skilled workers transportation etc

Preach!

Neo,I understand all the pro's of unions and what they have accomplished in the past and why they were needed...but I also know that the states with the lowest unemployment rates are all RTW states...there's gotta be somethin to that also.

We had a resource based economy before (silver & gold for example). It was helpful by limiting spending beyond our supply of that resource. Trade deficits would be paid to other countries in gold or silver and they would use that gold for public works projects. The endgame was basically to have the most exports and get all the gold.

If the world wanted to grow the economy though, they would have to find new resources under this system. Not easy to do with something that is pretty rare. As population growth outpaces the resource collected, living standards would go down. I'm all for a resource based economy, but I think gold /silver is a little over-hyped. The resources that are most valuable to people yet taken for granted are food, clean water and energy. It makes a lot more sense to me for an economy to based on a market basket of resources that are mandatory or necessary for production.

Gold and silver would probably be what the idea for trading initially but with out monetary value then so many jobs would be createde/invented through neccessity or creativity. Currently we are burden to make money for our self to live and pay debts but in the new system there would be no need for those types of demands so, the smartest and brightest people could concentrate on technology to expand resources, easier life and things that could push humans to a new high of evolution! Crimes would fall dramatically, drug use would fall to record lows because there would be no reason to mass produce it, I could go on but all I'm saying is the creatition and the will of people could focuse on life/living instead of death and the control of others! Nice discussion Henny, thanks for your input!
