i agree they is bad things in all faiths. And not all Muslims are terrorists. But all Isis are Muslim and they preach about it been a Muslim thing so guess they are getting the publicity they are asking for

To be fair, the U.S. military is full of religious nutjobs. They may fight "for the flag", but who knows what's going through their minds when they tear apart families in other countries.

How do you think our armies look to the people being killed overseas? They probably see our politicians preaching about Jesus and shit in Congress and think the same of us.

Conservatives have a funny way of demonizing other races and cultures while making excuses for their violent acts. Of the more than hundreds of American deaths from political violence and mass shootings since 9/11, few have come at the hands of Muslim-Americans.

The role of Western Imperialism in geopolitics is another issue, I served for 4 years in the Navy and somehow we see ourselves as protecting freedoms by bombing the shit out of middle eastern countries, fuck that. WE ARE THE OPPRESSORS. Thats the problem with American Exceptionalism, we have more citizens imprisoned per capita, police shootings kill more civilians than terrorist and we think we can go to other countries, fuck with their governments, bomb their civilians, steal their resources, destabilize the region and walk away all in the name of FREEDOM. It doesn't work like that. We need to ban Americans from Muslim countries and work on fixing our shit first.
