fuck em both if ya ask me.
i wasnt really directing anything at u spin..i agree its bad to buy from the bin..but people on here acting hard on one guy and didnt say SHIT about the other..thats pretty lame..looks pretty stupid in my book
i see where this is going, i just post the convo me and joe had in PM....and u didnt even bother to see the difference in the tone that he had in PM and in the forum...but were the ones that u r sayin that r acting hard OK....Joe took it upon himself to come in the forum and say what he had to say but were the ones that r acting Hard OK.....all night we have been sayin the same thing Union Business....Joe came with the PM that blue said it was cool,so its cool....Are we done yet
wth is this..is the bin ok to buy from or not?..
This is just my humble opinion. I feel it is valid and good for that matter, not to mention logical within the realm of game play. As of right now, anyone who has 100 favors can choose to buy from the Bootleg DVD BIN when a DVD is in there. They have put money into the game to do so and are using a game option (bold for clarity). It isn't even on the same level as sniping as they have put money into the game for it.
With that said, the imbalance is in the BIN itself. It only takes into account who has the favors to use it and not the favors spent for the product it's offered. In other words, I spent 15 favors per DVD, hours in the yard, hours horse trading ED's for DVD's and other time (just a general statement there). This offered no protection to my favors nor time spent to acquire said product. However, Mr. "X" over there plops down a credit card and buys up hours of my time as well as all of my favors leaving me with absolutely nothing. This literally could happen until someone has no DVD's left in ones cell, thus throwing away possibly 100's of hours of game time work.
Personally I do not fault someone for taking a chance at a random DVD at the cost of $15. I don't even fault a person for camping said BIN. That is a game fault. Mufasa even said himself it was meant to be a thought and decision on buying a random DVD and that it wasn't intended that all DVD"s get bought. Again, in fact when certain individuals are online, said DVD's are bought in bulk. The only conclusion that can honestly be drawn here, all emotion aside from the person buying it, is that the BIN is not working as intended and thus is in fact the problem.
Though I personally do fault someone for trying to extort the shit at a horrendous buy back rate. Though, that's on them and that's their personality and I have stated it before, that is their right.
So please guys, with all due respect to everyone here, take a step back and try to see what is actually taking place. The BIN is not acting the way it was intended OR at least that is what was stated a couple of days ago by Mu.
i agree totally with you..and just FYI, when i bought blues cheech..a friend had lost ts3 imax and i tried to save it...but i got the wrong one...i totally agree with not buying from the bin..unless to save your own dvd...BUT..this argument is now about why some people want to pick on some that buy and not others..and say its in the cause of a boycott..lmao

To much text damn it thats why.
Okay... imma bored... imma find something else to do now...

I personally think that a simple fix would be that if your dvd gets bought from the bin, you get 50 Favors out of it, while Idle Media gets 50 Favors out of it. Shit, I could make up for losing a dope ass dvd by getting a bunch of shit ones confiscated... And this will all wear down to the buyer, who will then think twice about actually spending 100 favors with more chances of buying shit dvd's from the bin. You guys think that would level out the bin campers and squatters? Give and take, take and give, no?

we could care less about Joe....its not about pickin on him.....like i said for like the 6th time if blue said it was cool then its cool....but if u want to drag this out nick then fine

You grabbed someone's confiscated copy of Iron Man 2 - IMAX! It's now protected and waiting to be placed in your cell!
thats how its done

thats how its done
ouch thats cruel
While I doubt they would give that amount of money back per DVD (figure $7.50) per DVD. I do agree with you on that something needs to be given to the person losing the DVD. I am not a game writer, creator, professional critic and I am not bitching or whine bagging about this. I just see an imbalance to this new feature. Just wanted to make that clear in case Mu decides to pop into the thread at some point.

thats how its done
