no, the ip addy's i logged onto always stayed the same when using hotel's wifi. some browsers like opera have built in proxies so i was afraid to use it, but i asked KT about it a long time ago and he said i would be ok

i think using a wifi in asia and being worried about getting duped with someone should be the least of your worries
