Shockingly i like the idea..... i seen that row-your-boat-nowx2 girl complaining about over powered players... well raiding amens humbled a lot of them to players who were weaker... but now so many have completely protected cells...i think this could be one way to balance the playing field a little... just as rates of finding rare items in the yard vary so could rates of getting mulitple of rare items be the same...

At the same time i feel a little uncomfortable with agreeing as i see so many others don't... and i would again make me more annoyed at raiders

Exactly. How long before ALL of SD has a protected cell? Raiding would then become defunct

I don't mind this idea. Either way, if you get raided you get raided. It encourages players to stay active, I guess.

And you cannot protect rare items, but you can hide them in your backpack.

Or, just leave it how it is... one of each item ain't bad either. I dunno, I'm impartial to this idea.

+1/-1

the raider gets his ass kicked and hits posted.

But as a raider, I'll say that I wouldn't be more inclined to raid someone that has 100's of thousands of items vs. someone who only has hundreds. I guess it depends on the rare items in their cell, rather than the quantity.

It's not like half his items are going to disappear. Only a few which wont be missed. And as Hana says, same as mugging.
