great movie

its all on how the laws are written...the ceo just stole money but wasnt a threat to the people he stole from... the bank robber made it look as if he a a weapon and caused a threat to the teller with force while commiting a bank robbery
the ceo most likly had a team of his own defnese lawyers that he paid for whille the other guy just took the publicly provided defense lawyer who was just there and didnt really care of the outcome of his client...the bank robber pleaded guilty and didnt take a plea bargin....a great lawyer is the best investment you can make in life

This shows you how screwed up this justice system is...that's some jim crow type shit right there

In the 80's Reagan started some bullshit called war on drugs which carried stiff penaltys for people selling illegal drugs. So a guy that gets caught with a once of coke would get something like probation, and a person that gets caught with a gram of crack got 10-15 yrs. A lot of men and woman are steal in jail today or recently released.
As Obama said last night in the state of the unioun address (which was an awesome speach) the system aka congress is broken and needs to be fixed. Why is it that two groups of people are always disagreeing but wants the same thing for the people, but it always comes down to the rich against the poor debate...how the hell does Warren Buffet pay less taxes than a secretary??? We need to wake up fast!

Ursula Nevin, a mother of two who was asleep when the Manchester riots were raging, but who was sent down for six months because she accepted a pair of looted shorts from a friend. Or Nicholas Robinson, who will pay with six months in prison rather than £3.50 for a case of water he took from a smashed-up Lidl in Brixton. Or Jordan Blackshaw and Perry Sutcliffe-Keenan who got four years each for using Facebook to incite a riot that never took place. All are in their early 20s, none have previous convictions.

Difference is one was considered a violent crime and other just fraud. They both were Federal crimes but when you hold someone at gun point or pretend gun point punishment is going to be more. But I don't agree 15 yrs that's harsh
Edit: he will be paroled with good behavior after 2-3 yrs most likely
